find out that the presidential candidate I most wanted to vote for
has dropped out of the race. Darn. I knew it would happen. It
happened four years ago when I wasn't allowed to vote for Howard Dean.
The big global corporations that own all of our media decided that
Dennis Kucinich should not be heard in the debates. Isn't it lovely
of them to run our democracy for us? What would us sheep do if we
didn't have these greedy corporations to tell us what to think? Could
it be that they knew he wouldn't allow further deregulation of their
industry? I'm just so appalled at the way things are run here.
Now I have to decide between the remaining three. Sigh. I just can't
bring myself to vote for Hillary in a primary. Her Republican-lite
voting record is just too much for me. Obama inspires me, but I know
he can't win any Southern states in November. I know my people and
the South reeks through-and-through with racism. It stinks to high
heaven. I like the angry populist noises coming out of John Edwards,
but will he be able to take on the Republican slime machine and
survive being Swift Boated?
If Hillary gets in it would at least be fun to see her exact her
revenge on the purveyors of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. At the
same time I know she's buddies with Rupert Murdoch who runs the right-
wing propaganda machine called Fox News. Baby, I'm confused as hell.
I hate this democracy by bankroll thing.
And of course I'll vote for whoever the Dem's put up in November.
We've already been destroyed slowly for 8 years by the other guys,
and we have to start putting this place back together again.
